Luckily there's a workaround: the DRAM POWER DOWN option.īut going deep in forums trying to decide which motherboard to buy I've found MANY, TOO MANY issues with USB peripherals randomly disconnecting, I must admit many from Asus and very few from other brands.Īnd I can't understand if it's a brand specific issue, defective hardware, lack of bios or Agesa maturity, or if it's a widespread problem on all AM5 motherboards.ĮDIT: my concerns arise from reading these threadsĮDIT2: well I see a lot of people with perfect usb functionality, that's good news. ![]() Initially I was scared of memory problems like MCR instabilities too, but that seems more like an issue on latest Agesa version. ![]() Going to buy a new pc I'm so scared of so many complaints about the usb dropouts problem on many AM5 motherboards. ![]()
